TERRY PENNER MS, ANP-C, ACNP-BC

Terry Penner brings over 40 years of healthcare experience, including more than 20 years as a nurse practitioner, specializing in neurology and sleep medicine. Originally from Canada, she began her career as a Board-Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in medicine and surgery before advancing her expertise through postgraduate training in Adult Health and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner programs.

 

Throughout her career, Terry has worked extensively in neurology-related fields, including acute neurosurgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, and neurological/psychiatric sleep medicine. Her passion for sleep medicine led her to establish SleepWerx, which became one of Mesa’s top sleep clinics before transitioning to Sonoran Sleep Center.

 

At Sonoran Sleep Center, Terry remains committed to helping patients manage sleep disorders and related comorbidities, providing compassionate and expert care. She continues to see patients at the Mesa office, the same location where SleepWerx operated.

In her spare time, she enjoys road trips with her husband, brushing their 2 German Shepherd Shedders, keeping her appointments straight for her chemically dependent pink hair, gardening, and cooking.
